The Next Generation of Power Infrastructure

Quartz HALO systems deliver continuous, fuel‑free electric power for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. Built around high‑efficiency permanent magnet generators, advanced power electronics, and integrated energy storage, HALO units provide clean, reliable, and scalable power without diesel, noise, or refueling logistics.

Designed for builders, developers, institutions, and infrastructure operators, HALO systems create long‑term resilience, predictable operating costs, and optional on‑site compute yield.

🔧 Modular. Redundant. Battery‑Driven.
Engineered for 300 RPM Precision.

Every HALO system — from the HALO‑110 to the HALO‑660 — is powered by Quartz’s proprietary Modular BLDC Prime Mover Architecture, a breakthrough mechanical‑electric drive system designed to keep the Vertical Axial Flux PMG locked at 300 rpm under any load.

This architecture transforms the HALO series into a self‑stabilizing power engine with unmatched reliability, efficiency, and uptime.

⚙️

Modular BLDC Torque Engine

1 Active + 3 On‑Cue Redundancy

Instead of a single oversized motor, each HALO unit uses a ring of high‑efficiency BLDC drive modules, each contributing torque through a precision belt‑drive reduction system.

Each BLDC module includes: High‑speed BLDC motor (2,500–3,000 rpm), 10:1 mechanical reduction to PMG shaft, 22 kW torque capacity per module, independent drive controller, hot‑swap mounting plate, PLC‑managed torque command channel, PC‑managed self‑correction & monitoring, AI integration optional.

🎛️

PLC‑Orchestrated Torque Sharing

At the heart of the HALO engine is a Siemens S7‑1200 PLC that continuously monitors PMG shaft speed, load demand, battery SOC, motor temperature, and drive health. The PLC dynamically decides how many BLDC modules should be active, how torque is distributed, when to bring additional modules online, and when to isolate a module for efficiency or redundancy.

This creates a self‑balancing mechanical ecosystem that maintains perfect 300 rpm stability.

🔋

Battery‑Driven, Efficiency‑Optimized

The BLDC prime mover is powered directly from the HALO’s LFP battery bank. To protect battery life and maximize runtime: only the minimum number of BLDC modules are activated at any moment, sleeping modules are fully isolated (zero idle draw), active modules operate in their high‑efficiency torque band, and SOC‑aware logic prevents unnecessary battery drain.

📈

Scalable Power: 60 kW to 660 kW

The same BLDC module is used across the entire HALO family: HALO‑110/220/330 use 4‑module primary ring (1 active, 3 on‑cue); HALO‑440/550/660 use 8‑module dual‑ring configuration for industrial and compute applications. This gives N+1 or N+2 redundancy, graceful degradation, continuous uptime, and easy field serviceability.

Traditional generators rely on a single mechanical drive source. If it fails — the system fails.
HALO’s modular BLDC architecture delivers: redundancy (multiple motors, independent drives), resilience (automatic failover), efficiency (torque‑on‑demand), precision (locked 300 rpm for clean 50/60 Hz output), scalability (same module, any power class), serviceability (swap a module in minutes).
This is not a generator. This is a next‑generation power engine.

Self‑Financing AI Infrastructure

“Here’s where this becomes truly transformative for builders: the AI compute system doesn’t just generate revenue — it can finance itself. Quartz offers a self‑paying equipment model where the unit’s own daily yield automatically services its cost. There are no monthly payments, no billing cycles, and no friction. The machine pays down its balance through a temporary revenue split, and because the yield is so strong, the payoff happens in days or weeks, not years.”

“For builders, this means you can install the system in every home with little or no upfront cost. The unit begins generating revenue immediately while the home is under construction or sitting on the market. That revenue can be applied directly to the equipment payoff, reducing or eliminating the cost before the buyer even moves in.”

“Once the home sells, the remaining balance — if any — can be rolled seamlessly into the mortgage as a fixed home upgrade, just like solar or whole‑home generators. But unlike those upgrades, this one earns money. It’s the first self‑amortizing home feature in the industry.”

“This gives builders a new financial lever: you can deploy revenue‑producing infrastructure across your entire inventory without tying up capital. And because the system is collateralized and yield‑backed, financial institutions are willing to purchase these loan notes, giving you immediate liquidity and the ability to scale deployment across entire communities.”

“In short: Quartz turns every home into an income‑enabled asset, every unsold property into a revenue generator, and every builder into the originator of a new class of self‑financing infrastructure. This is not a cost center — it’s a profit engine.”
